PRESENTING

IMG_6512.JPG

Jessie has been presenting concerts and dabbling in TV and radio for the best part of a decade, and has been recently announced as Dublin's National Concert Hall Artist in Residence 24-25, where she will divise and present 8 mainstage shows.

She first got a taste presenting a BBC Ten Pieces programme live on BBC NI and has been chasing the buzz of live presenting ever since!

Named a BBC Radio 3 Next Generation Voice 2019-20, Jessie has written and recorded many stories and introductions to pieces for Radio 3.

Over lockdown 2020 she launched the award winning show Jessie's Homemade Garden Jam, bringing world class musicians into her tiny vegetable garden and presenting her love of music in a unique and open way.

For the 2023-24 season Jessie has been working closely with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, presenting their new series for young people called Symphony Shorts, and is privileged to be taking on the mantle of presenting their iconic Music In The Classroom series.

Described by her Mam as "a natural" on camera, Jessie loves sharing her passion for music on screen. Here's an example of her in action:

RADIO/podcast WORK

Never afraid of a mic and a red light, Jessie has presented a series of shorts for BBC Radio 3 in their Time Travellers series, and has also been a guest on R3's In Tune and Jess Gillham's This Classical Life.

She has also guested on podcasts such as Three in a Bar, As It Comes and OUTcast.
