London based Irish clarinettist Jessie Grimes originally studied Music Education at Dublin University, Trinity College, where she gained qualifications in 2008 as a secondary school teacher, as well as an instrumental clarinet teacher.
A decade on, and teaching is still a huge passion of Jessie's.
She is currently a clarinet professor at the Royal College of Music Junior Department, and also teaches at St Dunstans College, Catford.
Jessie also enjoys leading clarinet masterclasses, and has done for organisations such as Camerata Ireland's Clandeboye Festival Academy, Britten Pears Arts' Aldeburgh Young Musicians, and on behalf of the Royal Overseas League.
